This year marked the eighth Challenge Cup between the L.C. Smith Gun Collectors Association and the Parker Gun Collectors Association during the Southern Side by Side.  The Parker team took the hammerless competition on Saturday and the L.C. Smith team took the hammer competition on Sunday.

L.C. Smith Exclusive Events

 

The Dreu Bowman Cup for the highest Smith Gun score in the 20 ga. American Classics event went to Dan Christoffersen. The Capt. A. H. Bogardus Cup, for the highest Smith gun score in the Atkin, Grant & Lang Main Event goes to Grant Rosser.

 

An award introduced last year, the Big Bore award, went to the shooter with the highest Smith Gun score in the American Classics 10 ga. event. The prize included a full-size hand-painted Mallard sculpture, a flat of shells and gun sock. Grant Rosser won this.
